Member NoKUNGFUforYU Posted August 2, 2014 Member Share Posted August 2, 2014 Yes, he does look genuinely happy to see a young foreign fan. As I've heard, some of these guys have no idea how popular they are around the world, even when their HK careers die out. I would imagine he is pretty well traveled and open, and not prejudiced, seeing as LKL has a foreigner run his school. Nice photo!
Member Secret Executioner Posted August 2, 2014 Member Share Posted August 2, 2014 I like him. i guess he is more popular then others because he has a big fan culture in america where he is known as the master killer. some kind of marketing thing. i met him in 2011 in amsterdam. gordon liu was very very modest and nice. he was really happy to see a young crazy swiss fan come extra for there for a pic and some autographes He sure looked great when you met him - along with looking like a very nice guy. Member Chinatown Kid Posted August 5, 2014 Member Share Posted August 5, 2014 I think Gordon will always be the most popular guy in Kung Fu Cinema history for his Monk roles, I mean he is the first one you think of when the subject of definitive Shaolin Monk on screen is brought up.
