Miike Takashi is returning to the horror genre....doesn't anything else really need to be said!?

An adaption of the Japanese ghost story 'Yotsuya Kaidan', the story follows a pair of lovers who perform together in the same play, but things turn strange (and very bloody by the looks of things) when the line between reality and fantasy begins to blur.

I always find it a bit funny when someone writes

when the imagery comes it is as shocking as anything Miike has ever delivered

about a pg-12 rated movie.

Director's Cut Blu-ray is hitting Japan shelves on February 13th, frustratingly without English subtitles as per usual. Here's hoping the Shout! Factory release will also be the Director's Cut. -

So the R1 DVD/Blu-ray of Over Your Dead Body comes out next month and was planning on buying it, but to my shock, I read a review that Tatsuya Nakadai has a cameo in this film? (http://www.filmbiz.asia/reviews/over-your-dead-body) I had not heard of this until now. The cast listing also has Kei Sato on there on Asianwiki, only problem is that he died four years before this film came out. I've noticed a few sites mention Tatsuya Nakadai, but I'm wondering if he really is in this film?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
