Yep, I compiled both of these lists by myself. Been kicking around the ideas in my head for a while, so I figured this would be a good place to write them down and share them. Both lists, by the way, are limited strictly to HK cinema.

Yeah, I loved the fact that you've taken the effort to make it HK specific. If you have the time and inclination, I think it would be great if you elaborated with a few lines for each movie on why you chose what you did, not for the whole 100 but perhaps just for your top 10?

Since it's a "fight scene" ranking, it would be interesting to know which scene in particular allowed the movie to reach this rank - it's quite obvious for the likes of The Big Boss or Way Of The Dragon, but I couldn't tell why a movie like The Chinese Boxer or The New One-Armed Swordman (films I haven't seen, mind you) made top 5 (except that they are Shaw Brothers productions, movies that usually have very good, well choreographed action).

this list, like the shootout one, is done only in a chronological order. I would love to go through and add in which specific fight scenes and shootouts (on the other list) I thought made them fit into a top-100 (HK only) list. When I get some free time, I'll try and do that soon!
