Member masterofoneinchpunch Posted April 23, 2014 Member Share Posted April 23, 2014 Well since they share two films I would go for the tin set which I have. I'm a big fan of Delightful Forest (even over Battle Wizard which I like, but not as much) so for me that was the deciding factor. Though at the time I just wanted that tin set, though it is a bit awkward for your shelf. All of them are available in single releases so it really isn't a huge decision as you can just buy the two films you did not get in singles. While the tin set sounds more appealing, I wanted to know in terms of films. But apparently, the tin set wins here too haha. The single releases have nice artworks I must say (I find that of Delightful Forest really powerful), I hope these boxsets have the DVDs in cases showcasing these wonderful artworks. The tin set is a fold out: Mark Pollard posted this on this site here. The other set is slim cases (I do not own this one; though I have all the movies which is why I did not buy it). Looks like a nice item, but not a very practical one - seems like the discs are just stored in cardboard sleeves.

That's what I was trying to get at. The set is neat, but a little impractical. Plus I'm sure that the shirt is no longer available .
Member Cloud Hands Posted April 23, 2014 Member Share Posted April 23, 2014 Delightful Forest is my personal favourite out of the films in both sets, so I'd get for the tin set too. Unless you want to get the stand alone delightful forest. In my opinion both sets have very good films, you wouldn't be wrong buying either then getting the rest as individual releases! Plus I'm sure that the shirt is no longer available . Read a review on amazon where a guy complained he couldn't get a shirt. I think there was some misleading information, as he seemed to complain about the shirt not being in the package (I thought the same thing until I checked your link). I guess I'll go based on availability and price, since both sets sound about equal quality-wise.
Member Morgoth Bauglir Posted May 13, 2014 Member Share Posted May 13, 2014 Definitely the Epic Heroes set because you can't pass on Delightful Forest. Then just get Battle Wizard separately. Two Champions and especially Heroic Ones are movies you want in your collection. I haven't seen Duel of the Century in 4 or 5 years, but I don't remember much good about it. I revisited Heroes Shed No Tears a month ago and it is garbage.

Everyone seems to confirm the Epic Heroes box is the better one in terms of movies. I think I'll get that one (with a separate copy of Battle Wizard, as it can be found for relatively cheap).
