Member SamSeed Posted April 18, 2014 Member Share Posted April 18, 2014 I saw this today and was blown away by it. Tom Hardy stars as the eponymous Locke, who leaves his job early to drive to London. Through a series of phone calls we learn about his predicament. I won't say anymore, other than Hardy's acting is fantastic and I highly recommend it. Member kaleyboy Posted April 19, 2014 Member Share Posted April 19, 2014 Tom Hardy = best actor around IMHO. Pure class, can't wait to see him as Mad Max.
Member Secret Executioner Posted April 19, 2014 Member Share Posted April 19, 2014 Tom Hardy = best actor around IMHO. Pure class, can't wait to see him as Mad Max. They're remaking Mad Max ? That's news to me... (not that I couldn't have lived without hearing of this) Otherwise, I agree, Tom Hardy is one fine actor. I really enjoyed the way he portrayed Bane in The Dark Knight Rises (too bad the end was completely messed up and just killed the character though)
Member Keung Posted April 23, 2014 Member Share Posted April 23, 2014 I saw this today along with The Raid 2 (again) and, well... The critics say the film is "groundbreaking", "a masterclass", and "totally unique..." Well, I can tell you it's none of that. It's fucking shit. It's literally just Tom Hardy talking about concrete for 85 minutes. Okay, I guess that is pretty unique...
