Member bobo Posted February 3, 2015 Member Share Posted February 3, 2015 yo ! just thought i would mention that on feb 15th el rey has INVINCIBLE ENFORCER listed for 10 AM and 3 PM . also the same day they have TREASURE HUNTERS at 12:30 PM and 5:30 PM . no doubt that TREASURE HUNTERS will have english dub but i hope some one checks to see if INVINCIBLE ENFORCER does as well. also, can any one confirm if TEMPLE OF THE RED LOTUS, BLACK BUTTERFLY or HEROES OF SUNG had the english dub and if so did any one record them ? thanks-- i wish i could get this channel then i wouldn't have to bug other people for info--- . Please be advice that the El Rey network is now available or will be available very soon to a TV, computer, phone or table (Android & iOS). There is a new internet-based TV service by Dish. It is called Sling TV. El Rey is part of the Best of Live TV Package. The only thing is that it is $20 a month for the package & is currently by invite only - it should be available to the general public within a few weeks or days. It may not be ideal for some folks but it is great for (some) sports fans especially those who do not have cable. I cut cable a while back as I was paying over $100 for channels I wasn't watching - I was watching about 5 channels max. I went the Roku & Amazon Fire TV route. I currently have Sling TV on my Roku. Invincible Enforcer looks like a lot of fun - not a kung fu movie at all, but a prison drama. Has all the classic dubbed voices that Shaw used in the late 70s (aka The Ted Thomas crew). Full Moon Scimitar however, while released in 1979, uses a different crew. Not the Ted Thomas crew and not the voices heard in all the later Shaw films on the 80s like Legendary Weapons, Lion vs Lion, etc. Most of the voices in Full Moon Scimitar are voices I've heard in independent flicks of that era. I think maybe IVL/Celestial has finally realized how much the English dubs mean to fans, and worked out the rights to use them. Reportedly (going by the info on Yesasia.com and DDDhouse.com), the English dubs are included on all three of the films included in their Blu-ray release of the 36th Chamber films, and they are all-region too! Could this mean that future BD releases will also include the English dubs too? I hope so.
