Member whitesnake Posted November 20, 2013 Member Share Posted November 20, 2013 I spotted this at http://tarstarkas.net/blog/2013/11/05/former-lost-film-the-cave-of-the-silken-web-screenings/ A copy of a 1927 Chinese movie, The Cave of the Silken Web, was found recently in the Norwegian National Library. The movie is based on an incident in the Chinese classic story, Journey to the West. The story is also covered in the Shaw Brothers movie of the same title. The film has "been restored and is now able to be screened." So far it has been screened in Oslo and King's College London. More on the story at the above website and at http://softfilm.blogspot.com/2013/10/the-cave-of-silken-web-found-at.html
