The Gallery Of Modern Art (GOMA) in Brisbane is having a mega marathon of HK madness I just heard about. Showing the films in 35mm glory over a 2mth period. After the first week there I was counting down the days until I could come back to Sydney, so I never thought there'd be a time just a few months later when I'd be wishing I was back there! How long a drive or plane ride away is it for you? Driving it takes over 10 hours, flying just over an hour...neither options are particularly appealing just for the sake of watching a few movies, especially when you factor in petrol &/or flight costs.
