Member AlbertV Posted July 13, 2013 Member Share Posted July 13, 2013 SIhxM3AufYA While Steve Pink is developing his remake of THE TOXIC AVENGER, Troma co-founder Lloyd Kaufman had completed his latest film, a new installment of the CLASS OF NUKE 'EM HIGH series. It's more like a modernized reboot of the original... "A young couple at Tromaville High School go up against the Cretins, a gang made up of the former glee club who have eaten contaminated food from the newly constructed Tromorganic Food Stuff Inc. When other students begin to undergo transformations, the couple must find a way to save Tromaville High." Kaufman makes an apparance as a character called "Herzkauf", Lemmy Kilmester, Ron Jeremy, and Stan Lee make cameos. Rick Collins, who played nuclear plant worker Ron in the original Nuke Em High film, reprises that role. And there is a special appearance from a certain...hideously deformed hero with superhuman size and strength... Yes, it's typical Troma, but if you like the New York-based indoe company and their gags, then this is right up your alley!
