Moderator Karlos Posted July 12, 2013 Moderator Share Posted July 12, 2013 I was genuinely sad to read Alan Whicker had passed away. As a brit growing up in the 70s he was my window to the world, and his many travels enthralled me. He always came across as a real gentleman, with a style that was urbane, witty and sincere. I've always liked him. Cheers, Mr Whicker.
Member Secret Executioner Posted July 12, 2013 Member Share Posted July 12, 2013 RIP. That may sound like a stupid question but why is this in the Shaw forum and not in the General one ?

Yes indeed. He truly enjoyed his job and I think many lived vicariously through him. That may sound like a stupid question but why is this in the Shaw forum and not in the General one ? I posted it here because of his WW episode, What Makes Shaw Run Run?
