Guest Markgway
AKA: New One-Armed Swordsman '94. Best DVD edition of this? How about MIA's UK disc? (Not bothered about the int'l cut). Thx.
Guest Markgway
Not a popular one, eh? Fuck it. I ordered the UK DVD. Supposedly 16:9 and mono w/opt subs.
Member spannick Posted July 10, 2013 Member Share Posted July 10, 2013 horrible Quality though. AGAIN the French Disc is the only endurable one and there is no International Cut. the Idiots assumed PAL and NTSC Runtime Differences account for a "shorter" International Cut. HK Version on UK Disc could be interlaced Conversion Crap, but too long ago i tossed it in the trash to remember.
Member odioustrident Posted July 10, 2013 Member Share Posted July 10, 2013 A custom was made from the French release. PM sent.

Member Phoenix Posted July 18, 2013 Member Share Posted July 18, 2013 I quite like this film although it doesn't seem to have many fans.
Member spannick Posted July 18, 2013 Member Share Posted July 18, 2013 MIA DVD: Hong Kong: 1.85 anamorphic, Cantonese mono, interlaced. International: 1.33 fullscreen, English stereo, progressive(!) as i said yeah, progressive is nothing special for HK Movies if you got the original Master Versions... problem is what they do with the movies when they encode them for Disc... all the Fortune Star non-remastered Movies are progressive too, as the superior French DVDs for lots of titles proved again.
