Moderator One Armed Boxer Posted July 2, 2013 Moderator Share Posted July 2, 2013 Last weekend I went to check out the documentary 'The Girl from the South'. Made by Argentinian director Jose Luis Garcia, it follows his efforts to track down South Korean peace activist Lim Su-kyung, who he first encountered while attending a student festival in North Korea during 1989, and who made national headlines at the time when she pledged to only return back home to South Korea via walking across the DMZ. What happened to her since then has always played on his mind, and the documentary follows his quest to find the answers, I posted a review here - http://koreanfilmfestivalinaustralia.blogspot.com.au/2013/07/review-girl-from-south-la-chica-del-sur.html
