Still waiting on my set to arrive from Amazon! :xd:

I wonder if it is possible to correct the issues in this short time?

What about Bob Wall's Game of Death interview on the extras disk. Does he reveal anything about being in the original film?

Why doesn’t my Bruce Lee Legacy Collection have true HD Blu-rays?

Go to the Shout! Factory and see if you can locate them!

Got my set from Amazon this week.

My first impressions:

Packing is very nice, my only real criticism of the packaging would be that the discs are a little tricky to take out!

I will pop in the discs one by one and give you a little info on them.

I will keep updating this over the weekend.

Discs read with BDInfo and screen shots taken with VLC player

A real shame this an upscale as the audio options are great, as mentioned before the audio commentary track is pretty bad in terms of quality!

Special Features on the disc are OK, the interview with Jon Benn is the most appealing. All the rest is the same old stuff!

I am a little disappointed with the colour corrections, maybe I expected too much!!

The picture quality isn't terrible but would have been much better if they had used the proper HD master!

Such a shame Shout Factory messed this up!

My overall score for this disc 6/10.

Another upscale with the lovely audio tracks, colours again could be better! The Special Features didn't do much for me!

5/10

What's with the RETURN OF THE DRAGON screencap....? What does it refer to?

That was a special feature, alternate opening. I laughed when it played! :)

That was actually taken from my old Video Gems VHS  As far as I know, that was the only time the Bryanston Pictures version of the opening made it to video.

WOTD was released in US after ETD. So, they re-titled it.

Shukocarl knows that mate. He just means what is it doing on the set and the explanation is the US credits from Return of the Dragon have been added as an extra.

Don't ask me why lol.

Now this is listed to Dec. 31st?!

:ooh:

Then Jan then March then August then......

Perhaps it is cheaper to not release it than to fix the issues with it. I hope they do get it fixed though.

Great! Now someone should let Shout know to make sure that the audio tracks will be in sync.

It is not rare for different prints to feature tiny differences, e.g. miss 0,2 seconds of blue sky at the end of some reel. I would imagine this kind of small difference could easily pass unnoticed, but result in sync issues if the audio track is just slapped on the new print withhout making sure all scenes are in sync.
