KUNG FU BOB

My buddy Johnny Ray went to the ENTER THE DRAGON 40th Anniversary presentation by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on April 17th, 2013 and managed to get some great stuff. So of course I had to share it with you kung fu (and samurai and ninja) brothers and sisters.

He got a quick impromptu interview out of Fred Weintraub: https://www.facebook.com/groups/BruceLeePuertoRico/permalink/576334902385600/

Hooked up me and a bunch of other fans with Program Guides that he got signed for us by Bob Wall: https://www.facebook.com/groups/254749074654224/319934274802370/?notif_t=group_activity

And... he secretly taped some stuff to share with all the fans that couldn't make it. Good stuff! 52 minutes long! http://youtu.be/LbaZNzkQY6U

Thanks Johnny! :nerd:

Awesome, thanks KFB. Never knew that Bob Wall was so funny. Shannon lookin as good as ever. But, hard to see Saxon and Wall age so much. After seeing them immortalized on the silver screen its hard to stop and think that they are just normal people too. (haha)

Awesome, thanks KFB. Never knew that Bob Wall was so funny.

Since you liked that, you should seek out the documentary THE LIFE AND LEGEND OF BOB WALL (2003). Very entertaining. Though it's kind of expensive. It retails for $30.00, but I've seen it used on Amazon for $18.00. BTW, it was directed by UNDISPUTED director Issac Florentine! :nerd:

LOL How old are you bro? Just curious. Seeing people get old is weird, but when you see your "little boy" driving a car it helps sink it home. I've been watching John (and to a lesser degree, Jim) in movies since I was a little kid, so it's not as shocking for me. I saw him go from playing the young, spry bad guy opposite Clint Eastwood in JOE KIDD, to roles on tons of TV shows like STARSKY AND HUTCH and THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN, playing the hero of horror flicks like CANNIBAL APOCALYPSE (1980) and BLOOD BEACH (1980), and the villain in BATTLE BEYOND THE STARS (1908), then as he got a bit older, the "Dad" (and Police Chief!) in A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET (1984), a ton of roles in direct to VHS titles throughout the nineties, his return to TV on CRIMINAL MINDS (1998), and I'm definitely going to check him out in BRING ME THE HEAD OF LANCE HENRIKSEN (2013) when that gets released. So besides seeing him in ENTER THE DRAGON a thousand times, John Saxon has always been around and I watched him age right along with me. I mean, the guy is 78 now!

LOL  I can't take any credit whatsoever for that cool video. All I did was point it out to you guys.

Oh, and haven't I told you not to call me "Man Bod"?! I left that moniker behind long ago when I left the male modeling and porno industry years ago. :xd:

Is this going to be on the special features?

LOL Yeah right!

But between this and the extras that Karlos compiled, we've actually got a REAL ENTER THE DRAGON 40th Anniversary worthy batch of extras. Why can the fans do it, but not the studio? :ooh:

Fantastic video, thank you for sharing it!!

So grateful for people like this making the effort to video these things - I for one will most likely never get the chance to see such things in the flesh!!

I know the film is really old but I couldn't believe how much John Saxon & Bob Wall have aged, made me laugh how they struggled to get out of the chairs!!

Our forum buddy put together a compilation of ENTER THE DRAGON bits and bobs that he has collected, onto a DVD-R. I was just saying that those, plus the video I posted at the top of this thread feel more like the extras that should've been on the official 40th Anniversary release than what's actually on there.

I'll send you a copy of the disc I mentioned. All I ask in return is that you pass it on to others. Some of the stuff may be rare to you, some, perhaps not so much as I know you are a hardcore Bruce Lee collector. PM me your info.
