Member Shaolin Patriot Posted April 17, 2013 Member Share Posted April 17, 2013 Dorado Films has launched a kickstarter campaign for the Italian Euro-Crime film, HIGH CRIME, potentially on DVD and/or Blu-Ray. High Crime, directed by Enzo G. Castellari, stars Franco Nero as a police inspector matching wits with a powerful European drug ring. It's got a good car chase scene & plenty of action. This seems to be one of the bigger fan favorites in the "Poliziotteschi" genre of the 1970's (and one of Quentin Tarantino's personal favorites; Tarantino also worked with the director on Inglorious Basterds). And it's got a cool retro music score by the famed De Angelis brothers! If you've ever been involved in a kickstarter project, it's partially funded by fans based on making a nominal pledge. A pledge is like a guarantee or promise you will support the project if Dorado spends the time and money to do it. The goal is to get 300 members. I think this film deserves a DVD and/or Blu-ray release.
