How come they have not given us more?.

And when is this movie to be released?

Word is that the Chinese release is in November although it's widely known for getting a July 4 release.

I assume the post-production is quite a chore considering the film is going to have a huge CGI component and 3D element.

I'm sure they want it to look better than Stephen Chow's recent effort and, from the concept art, it's going to look VERY lavish. Perhaps it's just a case of getting the footage right in order to release a trailer.

I remember reading somewhere that they did a presentation a few years back at a film market and the footage did not look good. It was all poorly rendered CGI green screen footage.
