Member xianzai Posted January 13, 2013 Member Share Posted January 13, 2013 Yuen Wah, Lily Li, Angela Tong...are supporting characters/bit players in this so-bad-its-good TV series. Imagine every trope of CSI-type shows and turn them up to 11. Nonsensical solutions to crimes, 'brilliant' deductions, quick-cut montages of lab work, etc. etc. http://wiki.d-addicts.com/Forensic_Heroes#Season_3 I started watching this because it wasn't boring and had a good Mandarin dub, but it's grown on me. I'm going to miss the silly solutions to crimes, the artificial interpersonal crises foreshadowed with sledgehammer subtlety, Geoffrey Wong as a Michael Chow-esque deadpan high-ranking police officer, and Kate Tsui, who delivered the most awkward kiss I've seen in years. Around the middle of the series they started injecting very 1950's-feeling moral messages in episodes, which just adds to the weird entertainment value.
