I'm thinking of trying out End Of Days and Collateral Damage. Worth it?

I personally did not like End of Days. I did not like Gabriel Byrne's acting in that at all.

After reading Arnold's autobiography it got me in the mood to try to finish off the films I have not seen with him which includes Collateral Damage :). I recently watched Stay Hungry which has to be more of the more atypical roles for him, but somewhat closer to his true life personality. It has Jeff Bridges and Sally Field (her only nude scene I believe) and while goofy it has a certain charm. Don't expect a Bob Rafelson (the director) Five Easy Pieces though.

Pumping Iron I consider a must watch. Great documentary about body building and Arnold really pushing over his personality at the time.

I'm just glad nobody's mentioned "The 6th Day."

i did :crossedlips::wink:

imo, the least annoying among all the other arnie capers from the 2nd half of the 90s.

its pretty retarded but.... "good" enough to pass some time & from what i remember, the one with the most kickass action.

checkin the imdb ratings for the heck of it; everything between true lies and T3 scores 5 or below. figures.

3 most famous Arnie quotes:

1. "I'll be back"

2. "Get to da Chappa!"

3. "Stick around"

4. "Asta la vista baby"

5. "Let off some steam bennet"

:nerd:

I'd put "Asta la vista baby" second to "I'll be back". And let's not forget the classic "Put dat cookie down!!"

I'd put "Asta la vista baby"

That quote was number 2 when T2 was popular many years ago.

And let's not forget the classic "Put dat cookie down!!"

??? What movie?

Haha Commando. If you listen to Sally when Arnie drops him over the cliff, he says "oh la la" as he is falling.

Austrian Death Machine are a great band. Their vocalist, Tim Lambesis (also of As I Lay Dying) has just pleaded guilty to charges that he tried to hire a hitman to kill his wife.

He did manage to record vocals for the third ADM album while out on bail. :xd:

They sound great. I'm familiar with As I lay dying. Wow, didn't know about that sinister thing with the vocalist.

I saw Predator again, and it was better than I remember. What a wonderful expression of warlike masculinity in the increasingly feminized, cuckolded late 80s.

It's a shame that Paul Verhoeven's Crusade never got off the ground. It could have been his next huge hit after Terminator 2.

This one was brought up a lot in movie magazines in the 90's, it all went quite after Schwarzenegger's first heart surgery. It's one projecy I'd hope he would make.
