Member Fanboy1991 Posted November 12, 2012 Member Share Posted November 12, 2012 Do the IVL VCDs have mono tracks as opposed to the DVDS 5.1 remixs or are they the same ?
Guest Markgway
I believe the VCDs all have mono tracks.
Member Oily Maniac Posted November 12, 2012 Member Share Posted November 12, 2012 But not all of them have the original mono soundtrack as far as I know.
Member Killer Meteor Posted November 13, 2012 Member Share Posted November 13, 2012 I'm told the VCD for Temple Of Red Lotus is remixed. The mono track genuine is on the German disc.
Member Jack J Posted December 4, 2012 Member Share Posted December 4, 2012 There was a long thread about bad SB mixes on the old now long gone Asian DVD Guide forum. All the info was collected and posted in post #1. Some blog saved and posted that info. Go here: http://backyard-asia.blogspot.dk/2011/09/shaw-brothers-bad-mixes-warning-from.html And in regards to TEMPLE OF RED LOTUS: Spannick: Music added, horrible new Sound F/X during Fights added. HK VCD is the same remixed Version, complete with Synth SB Logo. only old VHS seems to be intact Mono at the Moment.
Member spannick Posted December 8, 2012 Member Share Posted December 8, 2012 Magic Blade & Anonymous Heroes were Downmixes of Remixes too on VCD (only in HK; the Singapore VCDs had Original Mono, but were cut for Nudity). after these crappers, all VCDs i got were original Mono.
