well etd was shown in Wolverhampton arthouse cinema recently and it was a Blu Ray projection so I guess our chances of seeing a REEL version on a large cinema screen are slim!

When I was 18 I went to see an anniversary screening of ETD and then showed the old UK cinema version... lol.

i saw this three times in the 90's and 2001 and 08.

the one in the late 90's was played at the london film theatre..real deal version, no monk and full nunchucks.

one of the other two i later saw was on at the prince charles cinema and it was the friggin UK cut version..lol. Even the bolo v guards scene was butchered..!

Thanks for the heads up on this, i'd have missed it otherwise. Think I'll take an afternoon off and head up to watch ETD if possible. Rather tempted with The Evil Dead and Indy too
