Ten years ago, the HKFA organized "A Tribute to Chang Cheh" retrospective programme which including screenings of his representative works, an exhibition, seminar and publication.

One of the films featured was his ultra rare directorial debut. The 20-minute (some say 23 minutes) viewing was an incomplete version of the film and whether the film exists in its entirety is unknown. I ran across this site tonight which features a short sequence of this historical picture...

Thanks for the information about the viewing and that it was an incomplete version that was shown. The Taiwan Digital Archive site that hosts the clip says the run time of the version they have is 26:35.
