I just love his movies. And after watching this interview, I see that is very likeable. I have a Taiwanese friend and have asked that individual to see if/when I stop by in Taiwan, my friend can take me to see Lee Yi-Min in Taipei.

Does any body know how to contact this guy?

Lee Yi-Min is on this Baidu fan page.

http://tieba.baidu.com/f?kw=%C0%EE%D2%D5%C3%F1

Baidu fan pages has tons of stars (include Shaw brothers stars). Just input the name of the star in Chinese and search.

Lee Yi-Min's message to his fans...He said he will be on this forum everyday to answer questions from his fans!

http://tieba.baidu.com/p/556309428

He just got a baby girl....Congrats!

If you don't know Chinese, you can copy Lee Yi-Min's answers and paste in the online Chinese to English translator to understand what is it that he's saying...

There's a lot of Chinese to English translator...here's one.

http://www.microsofttranslator.com/translate_txt

You can use the online translator to change English to Chinese (use simplified Chinese, because the forum is in China, not Taiwan) and text him and tell him about your trip to Taiwan and would like to meet with him. Good Luck

Very nice. This is the interview on the 'Life Gamble' BCI DVD, right?

There are a few on that disc - no dub, but worth it for the interviews.

Very cool dude

Lee Yi-Min's last movie is " Ninja - The Final Duel " (1986)

Lee played a small part as a Shaolin monk.

after that he made tv-series and retired from the industry in 2001.

He is doing some business by himself now.

For your information. I will contact my Taiwanese friend and ask her to register me with that site so that I can chat with Lee Yi-Min. I have a copy of that "Seven Grandmasters" and watch it about very 5 months or so, or when I go visit my friends. Do we know when this interview was made?

No sweat wahlumkid. Do you know the names of any of these TV series?

Do we know when this interview was made?

He had told me but I don't recall exactly. Around 2008 is my best guess.

Hi Walumkid,

Hmm...just a curiosity. How do I (we) know for sure that the link you posted here is legit and the one who answers on the other end is actually Mr. Lee? Please forgive me for asking this dumb question.

Hi Topgun,

That's a good question...? We can tell if its legit or not by a few pointers....

1. Baidu is a reputable site and its free.

2. Based on the reputation of the Moderator, also from other members of the forum.

http://www.baidu.com/p/江天官?from=tieba

3. Based on Lee's answers and info he provided. Also one important factor - from the personal photos that he posted on board. Here are some of his personal photos...

Chinese characters would work as well. Can you cut and paste? If not, no worries.

Nice look into the man's personal life. I'm guessing that's his apt? Did he just move in (from all those boxes sprawled about)? Otherwise we need to get this man some furniture asap! Haha

Do you know if the older photo is of him ...sister? ...and his mother? Also curious about the newborn. Not that he couldn't have a baby at his age (59/60?) but perhaps a grandchild?

What was the last date he posted on that site? I saw posts from 2009 but anything more current?

Lee Yi-Min's tv-series I saw were....(names translated by myself).

(1987) Drunken Fist

2CS1RHNch38

(1987) ?...Couldn't find this one.

(1988) The Brave Archer Heros

n9wSnSUIpwg

The older B/W photo is Lee and his sister & Mother. He's the third child of the family. So people often called him - " The Third Brother " for nickname.

The newborn baby is Lee's baby daughter. Not sure if he has other children or not.

More personal photos can be found on his Facebook - http://zh-tw.facebook.com/people/李藝民/100001239860872

Lee said he's been very busy with the baby and his business. So, he disappeared for a long while.....
