Member WalkOn Posted September 22, 2012 Member Share Posted September 22, 2012 I'm guilty of being a long time John Liu fan since 1979 when I watched New South Hand Blows and North Kick Blows (aka Assignment to Kill) in NYC Chinatown. I then became a fan for life. I may have the movie red ink flyer from back then somewhere. Anyways, I came across these very rare stills of John Liu on youtube. Great pics, imo. http://youtu.be/nPxBVmdOQMk http://youtu.be/AwjuqrU-MTw Somewhat confirms his alias "Prince Khan" of a religious cult that I read somewhere back in the days. I wish there were other stills of his battle of past champions where he defeated Chuck Norris in a sport karate match or pics of him with Tan Tao Liang. Enjoy. Member odioustrident Posted September 22, 2012 Member Share Posted September 22, 2012 Here is a poor translation of the article... but you get the idea. Were Chin Kar Lok and Chin Siu Ho really running some type of upskirt camera operation? Heard Fung Hak On had a reputation for the below behavior but again... these could all be tall tales. The below story is a little more believable.... COURTS SIX-MONTHS FINE FOR WORKING ON CHILD ABUSE ROSA MARIA BOSCH TARRAGONA-Tarragona the audience yesterday sentenced to six-months fine, period during which pay thousand pesetas per day according to the new Criminal Code, the Barcelonès Antonio Pérez Segui for acting as an accomplice to two crimes of sexual exploitation of children. The main accused and author of abuse, denounced by six children, is the John Chung Lian Liu Chinese, located in unknown whereabouts. The facts date back to 1987, when John Chung arrived in Barcelona, where commissioned to Perez that he reclutase young people, aged between 16 and 19 years, on the pretext of turning them into movie stars. To the dessert, the girls, many of whom were minors, had just been in Taiwan to shoot films of a pornographic nature. Pre-selected girls should undergo shoots and video in a chalet, Cheng in El Vendrell. That exceeded the test spent two months learning alleged cinematographic techniques. During this period, "young women were subject to continuous harassment of a sexual nature by John Chung, who took advantage of every opportunity to make them touching of all kinds, that filming without the consent of the minors and in order to use the material in erotic films," says the Prosecutor. Young women warned of harassment of Chung to the other accused, who responded that they had access to requests from Chinese if they wanted to succeed in the film. Finally, they offered the girls the possibility of signing a contract of employment for a period of 17 years and travel to Taiwan to shoot a film of adventure and action, but in all cases it was pornographic films. Member TibetanWhiteCrane Posted September 22, 2012 Member Share Posted September 22, 2012 I think that upskirt cam deal was just Chin Siu Ho, never heard Kar Lok mentioned in connection to that.
Member WalkOn Posted September 24, 2012 Author Member Share Posted September 24, 2012 I've heard negative things about John Liu but it was money related (deadbeat) issues, nothing like this. Wow... I'll just take it as information, but man, you just never know. I can't judge anyone so I'll just appreciate films, pray for him and leave it at that. Thanks for sharing. Member The Dragon Posted September 24, 2012 Member Share Posted September 24, 2012 This would totally explain that weird video someone on this site posted a while back, of Mr. Liu doing some sort of Kata, surrounded by a bevy of young, hot looking, naked, ladies. Member odioustrident Posted September 24, 2012 Member Share Posted September 24, 2012 Kung Fu Emanuelle aka Ninja in the Claws of the CIA ......wasn't he getting a BJ in that movie while we was practicing? It was strongly implied! This was his biggest challenge in the film given that he and Roger Paschy kicked some shitty looking arts & crafts more than they kicked each other. I think that upskirt cam deal was just Chin Siu Ho, never heard Kar Lok mentioned in connection to that. Thought I heard the younger Chin was involved in the upskirt thing as well. The story seems relatively big in HK, but wasn't there a Western magazine that details the allegation against Chin Siu Ho specifically? Member The Dragon Posted September 25, 2012 Member Share Posted September 25, 2012 Kung Fu Emanuelle aka Ninja in the Claws of the CIA ......wasn't he getting a BJ in that movie while we was practicing? "It's my own new style, BJ KWAN DO". It was strongly implied! This was his biggest challenge in the film given that he and Roger Paschy kicked some shitty looking arts & crafts more than they kicked each other. Lol! He probably had those girls tricking off with his co-stars. What an ass! Never would have figured him for something like that.

Member Drunken Monk Posted May 1, 2014 Member Share Posted May 1, 2014 I've said it before and I'll say it again, I just can't enjoy John Liu. Sure, he's been in some good films but I just think he's a one trick pony. I don't think I've ever seen him pull off choreography that doesn't involve twenty five roundhouse kicks in a row. Has he actually done any shaped work?
Member Secret Executioner Posted May 1, 2014 Member Share Posted May 1, 2014 Only saw Incredible Kung Fu Mission and (really) enjoyed it. But it seems to be his best effort. Saw a DVD release of this one from a collection called "The Ultimate Ninja Collection" (I have Godfrey Ho's The Ultimate Ninja and Silver Dragon Ninja from this one) on amazon. Thought it was another IFD production, but hey, did you see that artwork ?!
Member AlbertV Posted May 1, 2014 Member Share Posted May 1, 2014 Here is John in 1998 as the villain "Paschy" (get it?) taking on Bruce-alike Dragon Shek in TRINITY GOES EAST hJ15CcLfNWI I believe this was his last film appearance.

Member Secret Executioner Posted May 2, 2014 Member Share Posted May 2, 2014 The Dragon, the Hero (1979) ... Tu Wu Shen Also starring Dragon Lee. Thank GOD. We were talking of John Liu, not Dragon Sek - I'm sure you'd have preferred having more John Liu rather than the 2 movies Dragon Sek made for Joseph Lai's IFD in 2002 (Dragon The Master and Big Boss Untouchable). Member DragonClaws Posted December 8, 2018 Member Share Posted December 8, 2018 Taiwanese old-schooler, Dragon Blood(1982), John Liu's second to last movie, produced by his own film compnay JL Film Corp(H.K). He also directed this movie, and choreogrpahed the fight sequences. Cult filmaker Godfrey Ho is listed among the movies cast. Phillip Ko, feels the full force of John Liu's flying kick, in a scene from the film.
