Member ching li Posted August 1, 2012 Member Share Posted August 1, 2012 I went into my closet and watch alot of my martial arts movie classics I havent seen in a while and first up was the dumb boxer. I am still taken aback how wonderful this movie was. It wasn't your typical basher but had a wonderful layer of drama and was fit in perfectly with the movie. The drama was not over the top and the lead Hong Hoi is such a wonderful actor. His emotions were acting perfectly as the mute fighter, you don't see that much in kung fu movies. Once again, this movie goes high on my old school basher's list. I love it, and will watch it again
Member TibetanWhiteCrane Posted August 1, 2012 Member Share Posted August 1, 2012 I've always wondered about this one. Not the biggest basher fan, but the title always caught my eye. Is there a decent release?
Member ching li Posted August 1, 2012 Author Member Share Posted August 1, 2012 The print I have is from Ocean Shores and I got it from IOffer(maybe a branch from ebay). It is a very good and clear print; also it is the English version. Other places I have seen was the subtitled version.
