Guest Markgway
As Bruceploitation goes it's pretty watchable.
Member NoForAnAnswer Posted July 12, 2012 Member Share Posted July 12, 2012 It ain't great but I've seen worse. Too much comedy for my taste. It's been a while since I saw it though.
Member derwood Posted July 12, 2012 Member Share Posted July 12, 2012 As Bruceploitation goes it's pretty watchable. It ain't great but I've seen worse. Too much comedy for my taste. It's been a while since I saw it though. Have to agree with both comments, except that I think its more the comedy that keeps it going, wouldnt have finished it except for a few cheap laughs. The crappy invented film fu is unique, though that doesnt make it good, it does add to the wacky comedy. The fact the film characters are even making it up adds to this films depth, shallow as it may be. Simon Yuen is his usual self hamming it up, this time as a blind master. I guess its somewhat like some early Jackie Chan works in execution, probably due to the Yuen influence. Its a bit choppy with the editing & my version is quite dark in some scenes. Some prerequisite obscure training sequences & Bruce Li doing some of his best Bruce Shatner put this in my list of must see bruceploitation. Bonus- theres some good looking women in this & at least one I remember kicks mad but
Member ShaOW!linDude Posted July 12, 2012 Member Share Posted July 12, 2012 I remember this as being pretty decent. Don't remember it as being comedic. Been a long while, guess I need to rewatch it.
Member Black.Dragon Posted July 13, 2012 Member Share Posted July 13, 2012 Not a fav Bruce Li flick of mine ( I have them all ) . "Blind Fist of Bruce" gets a 2 out of 5 star rating IMO . A very forgettable film
Member mpm74 Posted July 13, 2012 Member Share Posted July 13, 2012 I agree. A weak Bruce Li flick. I prefer is modern day setting films.

Member Morgoth Bauglir Posted July 31, 2012 Member Share Posted July 31, 2012 Decent movie. A little below average. But it gets big bonus points for having Tiger Yang as the villain.

Completely agree mate, he's a beast. Dunno why he didn't get more roles.
