Please help name the origin of this theme tune...

Have had this damn theme from 'Incredible Kung Fu Mission' in my head since I first saw it on T.V. back in the mid 80s (first kung fu movie I ever saw that didn't star Bruce Lee and that wasn't made by the Shaws). Always liked the film but LOVED this tune. Can anybody out there name the film that originally used it? My guess is that it's from a Spaghetti Western that I haven't caught up with yet.

The closest I've ever come to figuring it out was that it was a variation of 'Old Turkey Buzzard' used in 'Mackenna's Gold' (composed by Quincy Jones) but as far as I can tell, the version used in the John Liu film is different. Could it be that it was actually created for IKFM?
