Member odioustrident Posted June 10, 2012 Member Share Posted June 10, 2012 Was the director really killed by triads after doing Shanghai 1920 or is this classic misinformation?
Member TibetanWhiteCrane Posted June 10, 2012 Member Share Posted June 10, 2012 HKcinemagic has director credits for him up until 2004. And that Shanghai movie was early 90's, so I guess not. Whether he's still alive today, I don't know. HKMDB only has credits for him up until Shanghai 1920..... curious. But maybe the stuff he did after that was mainland or something, and is therefor not listed.
Member Reel Power Stunts Posted June 10, 2012 Member Share Posted June 10, 2012 In the mid noughties he directed some shot-in-Eastern-Europe-direct-to-video dross: "Out of Reach" starring Seagal and "Detonator" starring Snipes.
