I've seen nearly all of those on that list. I'd say my favourite is 8 Diagram Pole Fighter, with Hong Kong Godfather, Sword Stained with Royal Blood & Opium and the Kung Fu Master coming up close behind.

Two Champions Of Shaolin is rather sluggish but does have a awesome finishing move, as well my fave Lu Feng performance.

I haven't seen nearly enough from the 80s to make a list. But I'm sure most of you have.

This could also act as a reference of must see films from the 1980s. A period in martial arts history I find very fascinating.

So please give me your ten favorite Shaw Brothers martial art films from the 80s.

Of the ones you listed I've only seen SHAOLIN INTRUDERS, LONG ROAD TO GALLANTRY, LADY ASSASSIN, and OPIUM AND THE KUNG FU MASTER.

The only one that might not make my list is OPIUM. It's close though. I'd have to give it a rewatch first.

Look at all these hits.

I'm surprised "Masked Avengers" isn't as famous as "Five Deadly Venoms".
