Member waywardsage Posted March 21, 2012 Member Share Posted March 21, 2012 It comes to my mind, in this age of Apps, why hasn't Celestial cut out the middle man, and created a streaming site for all their Shaw back titles? Basically, it would be the Zii Eagle, but without the box. People could pay a membership, $5/month or $10 and stream every single shaw they have in HD! Netflix and Hulu Plus do this. Why can't Celestial get with the program? It would seem the most logically thing to do. Plus it could potentially be a cash cow for them. They could first start on PC via browser them move onto dedicated Apps on iOS/Android. I really think this would solve a lot of problems with pirating and non-availability of many films in R1. Member kaleyboy Posted March 21, 2012 Member Share Posted March 21, 2012 It's a great idea, but sadly that's where the problem begins. Celestial and good ideas just don't seem to get along too well. Also, like Hulu, I'm sure if it were available it'd be for Asia only. Us Europeans can't access Hulu either.
