Member Mugen Posted March 3, 2012 Member Share Posted March 3, 2012 There is a character in the beginning of drunken master who gets his ass kick by hwang hang lee but in dance of the drunk mantis he is in there and looks way younger but that movie is a follow up to drunken master,is that movie a follow up or was it it before drunken master? Member Reel Power Stunts Posted March 3, 2012 Member Share Posted March 3, 2012 I wouldn't think too deeply about it. Several of the Yuen brothers worked on both films. It's not unusual for stuntmen to play different roles in sequels/spinoffs without care for continuity. Yuen Shun-yee got his but kicked at beginning of "DM" and he appeared in "DoDM" (and worked as a choreographer) without a moustache. Member AbeRudder Posted March 3, 2012 Member Share Posted March 3, 2012 Drunken mantis was made a year or so after drunken master i think, yuen shun yi looks a bit older in drunken master cause they gave him a mustache to sort of look like an old master.
