Yeah, those big ass phones from the 80s. They were known as "Dai Go Dai" (Biggest of Brothers). I guess because Triad bosses were known for carrying them?

I'm probably wrong about that reason. Anyone know why they were called that?

Cool find, thanks for sharing it. I guess Shaw Brothers did have a box office winner there! What, had the film makers here just not heard of Golden Harvest? I'm assuming G. H.'s backlots just weren't big enough, had to use Shaw's studios.

Yeah, weird that. they often use Shaw Bros back lots and studios. Some of the final scenes of Operation Condor in the underground bunker was shot in a Shaw Bros studio.

I thought Shaw and Raymond were rivals. But they let them use their lots? :ooh:

I expect you already know then, that the Joy Sales dvd has a nice featurette on it called "someone will know me" about the stunts and stuntmen of Project A 2.
