"it has been confirmed that the film will not be released on June 2012, with that date instead going to the G.I. Joe sequel."

"On 23 November 2011, it was reported that the sequel will be shot in 3D for a 17 May 2013 release."

I thought all my favorite movies were coming out next year (you know, before the end of the world), but I was wrong. This annoys me, if you don't get the summer slot then you get pushed back an entire year! I mean just release it in July/August 2012. I don't want to wait this long. Even the next Bond will be out before this one.

Thanks GI Joe.

Simon Pegg dismissed rumors that the villain of the Star Trek sequel would be Khan in this article:

“It’s not Khan,” replies Pegg, annoyed. “That’s a myth. Everyone’s saying it is, but it’s not.”

I'm relieved to hear this. There is plenty in the rich Trek universe to explore, they don't need to do Khan again.
