I got to see the film and it was very good. Once you get into it, you won't even notice that the film runs 3 hours long!!! It's a flashback story of two college buddies who reunite after 10 years to find their long lost friend. They go on a road trip with a former college schoolmate who has become a pompous businessman and while they are on the road, the film focuses on the 3 buddies and their hijinks in college, from pissing off the dean of the school to the long lost buddy falling in love with the dean's daughter. Anyone who wants to see Bollywood definitely needs to see this. Well, Yahoo! News has announced that not one, but two remakes are being planned. Yes, one of them is a Hollywood remake and Italy may be getting a remake. The original film's producer, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, is currently in talks with 3 Hollywood studios and a studio in Italy. But, Chinese fans are going to be shocked to learn that Stephen Chow is planning a Hong Kong/China remake to the film as well!!! The original 3 IDIOTS is going to be released in Mainland China next week. Taiwan has even adapted the film into a stage musical. If you haven't seen it, please go on and rent 3 IDIOTS!!!
