Member AlbertV Posted October 17, 2011 Member Share Posted October 17, 2011 Does anyone remember the true story of 25-year old named Tomohiro Kato, who drove a truck into the weekend crowds of Akihabara and then went on a stabbing spree, killing three people and wounding others? It was major news in Japan and all over the world. Well, CrunchyRoll has announced that a film version is in the works. Ryuichi Hiroki, an independent cult film director, is helming the project for a March 2012 release date. Kato was sentenced to death on March 24, 2011 by the Tokyo District Court.
