Just found this. I'm comforted by the fact that this isn't going to be a remake/reboot/whatever. I do hope however that it will not be a prequel. I think a sequel allowing for the passage of time would serve the story better. And get Harrison Ford to reprise his role as an older Deckard would be great.

Harrison Ford is not likely to be back, because I heard that he didn't really like playing in the first one. I'm not sure about this, so please correct me if I am wrong.:yociexp44:

WOW I love Blade Runner that is a movie that I cannot see having a prequel that can ever be as good as the original!

Meanwhile, Scott is in postproduction on "Prometheus," a sort-of prequel to his classic 1979 "Alien," for Fox. This might be good!
