Guest jirpy100
Just saw Salvador yesterday. It's really good. James Woods and Jim Belushi do great job in this journalist-in-the-warzone film. I saw the MHM DVD and it looks like it was made yesterday! In a way it's better than the mighty Apocalypse Now, in the sense that it's more realistic, but both are great films. Guest Nguss
Cross of Iron is one of my all time favourite war movies. Up to a point I also enjoyed Saving Private Ryan, then it all went a bit pear shaped towards the end. Korean war flick Taegukgi was also good, but went heavy on the melodrama. Combat Zone (a vietnam movie shot in the U.K I think) was also o.k.
