Member Shaolin Chamber 36 Posted July 24, 2011 Member Share Posted July 24, 2011 I know there has been a lot of talk about FuelTV's Friday Night Kung Fu films, where they have been showcasing Shaw Brothers films, but tonight, while channel surfing, I just learned of another network with some very cool programming, that being MYX TV. Unfortunately for me, on Comcast here in the Bay Area, we do not get Fuel TV. Here is the schedule (half of it already gone) of what films they have been or will be airing. MYX TV and Tai Seng Entertainment team up to bring you Movie So Good, a collection of Action films that showcases the best of martial arts cinema. Consisting of kung-fu legends and can’t miss fight sequences, Movie So Good brings the HEAT with a new film showing every weekend. Premiere: Saturday & Sunday at 9pm ET/6pm PT JUNE June 4 – The Shaolin Drunken Monk June 5 – The New Game of Death June 11 – My Kung Fu 12 Kicks June 12 – Ninja vs Shaolin Guards June 18 – Revengeful Swordswoman June 19 – Ninja Hunter June 25 – Full Contact June 26 – Dragon Tiger Gate JULY July 2 – Ninja vs Bruce Lee July 3 – DIRTY KUNG FU July 9 – The Warrior From Shaolin July 10 – Fists & Guts July 16 – Legend of the Wolf July 17 – Fists of Fury July 23 – Magnificent Fists July 24 – The Legendary Strike July 30 – Code of Honor July 31 – Initial- D AUGUST Aug 6 – Shaolin Hero Aug 7 – Shaolin Monk Aug 13 – The Fist, The Kicks, and the Evils Aug 14 – Killer From Above Aug 20 – Challenge of Death Aug 21 – Ninja in the Deadly Trap Aug 27 – The Young Bruce Lee Aug 28 – House of Fury Link to site with more info. Not sure if this has already been mentioned, but I just wanted to give people a heads up.
Member Space Posted July 25, 2011 Member Share Posted July 25, 2011 I get Fuel TV...it's pretty cool, though during the movies they leave up the giant red station logo on the image (widescreen image) which is annoying. Also, all the movies are dubbed.
Member Rock_Bottom Posted July 25, 2011 Member Share Posted July 25, 2011 Unfortunately MYX seems to be in very limited number of cities right now (http://myx.tv/find-myx/). We have not had cable for either almost, or over, a year now...this is the sort of thing that *might* make me reconsider. The sheer fact that a broadcast station would commit to airing so many of these would make me want to watch...even if I've already seen some of them.
