Guest DrunkMantis
I really wan't to see this movie since it's hailed as one of the best movies ever by many people. But i want to know if there is a english version that exist? The criterion disc doesn't seem to have a dub. Thanks!
Guest gimpusmons
The thought of a dubbed version of an Akira Kurosawa film seems very wrong. I sympathise with your desire to not be forced to "read" a movie, but consider making an exception for this one. Old school kung fu in dubbed form is one thing, but stately chambara from one of the world's master craftsmen of cinema is another. But that's just my opinion. Guest DrunkMantis
Yeah you're right. I could handle it. But still, is there a dub on the kick-ass disc? And are the subtitles readable? Thanks

Guest Samurai Sicari
The only Seven Samurai DVD in the US is Criterion Collection, and they NEVER dub as it wouldn't be the same.
