Member xianzai Posted June 27, 2011 Member Share Posted June 27, 2011 It's a fictionalized account of a volunteer force protecting antelope from poachers in a remote region of Tibet. It's bleak, gory, violent, and an absolute must see. upCjVWmXIco
Member masterofoneinchpunch Posted June 30, 2011 Member Share Posted June 30, 2011 That was a seriously depressing film. I mean seriously it is a film I have no intention of rewatching anytime soon. It was quite good and I think particularly underrated here in the States. The poaching is based on a serious issue there so the film is not completely fictional. I would also add that it is an absolutely beautiful film with astonishing cinematography. I actually found (for US users) that film at Big Lots for 3 dollars a few years back. Since I pick up any R1 release of Asian films I can find it was an easy purchase.
