No, this is NOT the kung fu movie that Yuen Woo-Ping was set to work on years ago, but a different tale. The film is being called SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN. In this version, the Evil Queen sends a huntsman to the forest to kill Snow White. However, he has a change of heart and decides to train Snow White to defend herself and face the Evil Queen. And yes, there are going to be dwarves. The film still is in development as casting is still underway. However, some of the key roles have been cast. Kristen Stewart will play Snow White, Chris "Thor" Hemsworth will play Eric the Huntsman (I'm guessing he will shoot after THE AVENGERS), Charlize Theron will play Ravenna the Evil Queen, Sam Claflin (PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES) will play Prince Charmant, and just today, it was announced that Ian McShane will play dwarf leader Caesar.
