Member mpm74 Posted May 13, 2011 Author Member Share Posted May 13, 2011 I definitely will be picking them up if the transfer is successful! Didn't know you were a fan of the Deathstalker series! Right on! You gonna pick up Conan, too?
Member mpm74 Posted May 13, 2011 Author Member Share Posted May 13, 2011 I know! I was joking. =D They're really shitty Roger Corman knock-off movies that were made after the popularity of barbarian films of the early 80's (sparked off by Conan). Moderator Karlos Posted May 13, 2011 Moderator Share Posted May 13, 2011 I kinda like the Deathstalker films, although it cannot be denied that the best thing about them was their awesome poster art. As much as I like the first Conan it never quite felt like Conan - and the less said about the sequel, the better. It was given away free a few years in my newspaper and I still felt ripped off. Member Takuma Posted May 13, 2011 Member Share Posted May 13, 2011 There's a priceless youtube comment about Conan's soundtrack: "man not need viagra......man have the conan music!"
Member dionbrother Posted May 13, 2011 Member Share Posted May 13, 2011 DEATHSTALKER 2 is hilarious, one of Jim Wynorski's few good movies. They did it as a comedy and it worked.
