Member Takuma Posted April 14, 2011 Member Share Posted April 14, 2011 It's quite a nice little film. Watched it on a fest last year, been waiting for the BD. I just hope they will include the spin off movie so that I don't (again) have to own multiple editions. I shall quote a fellow film critic: "Mutant Girls Squad is kinda like X-Men. Except that the X-Men didn't rape men with mutant tentacles." - Kalle Karinen / Night Visions catalogue. There's a bit too much CGI blood in the first two episodes - the ones by Tak Sakaguchi (comedy, drama, and street fighting) and Noboru Iguchi (mainly comedy with obscure Sukeban Deka reference), but Nishimura's closing episode is just an unbelieable bloodbath. No CGI gore, but thousands of litres of blood. It's a continuous story though - just split in three parts. So each director picks up from where the previous one left off. Oh, and Yoshie is the cutest mutant ever. So adorable Nishimura, Iguchi, Sakaguchi
