Anyone familiar with AIS Blu-rays? They are releasing Shaws and JC

Looks like straight HK imports to me. i get a lot of review discs from UK companies and have never heard of AIS. If these were UK releases they would be on Amazon UK but they are not.

Hmmm. I find it strange that amazon.com is carrying them. Imports are usually sold through 3rd party sellers (and they don't let people post stuff unless it's in stock), but since they're posted with release dates, looks like they're coming from the amazon warehouse.

they are $15 each more on amazon then on dddhouse. (that's 50% markup from the HK prices)

yeah, I noticed, which is actually pretty normal, when buying imports from locals. I'm just not used to seeing amazon do it.

dddhouse canceled my order with the following note...

Distributor of “The One Armed Swordsman Blu-ray” informed that those items are printing problems and stop to release on time until further notice.
