Member loempiavreter Posted March 1, 2011 Member Share Posted March 1, 2011 Quentin Tarantino is continuing his tour through 1970s cult film genres with a trip to the world of spaghetti westerns. For a change it's not Tarantino who spilled on this one, the notoriously talkative director not saying a word on this one. Instead the word came from iconic Italian actor Franco Nero, who spilled in an Italian interview that he has been cast along with Treat Williams and Keith Carradine. Also reportedly in the cast is Christoph Waltz. The title given by Nero reportedly translates roughly to The Angel, The Brute And The Wiseman, though this is a matter of some dispute. Speculation is that this could be filming by fall. http://twitchfilm.com/news/2011/02/nero-waltz-carradine-and-williams-to-star-in-quentin-tarantino-spaghetti-western.php

Member Takuma Posted March 1, 2011 Member Share Posted March 1, 2011 Finally. I've been waiting for a Tarantino spaghetti western since Kill Bill Vol. 1. Gonna be awesome. Tarantino's the only interesting mainstream filmmaker America's got. Cool news about Franco Nero, too. I got to see a 35mm screening of Hitch-Hike quite recently.
