Is that George Lazenby in the background, with the binoculars in the bushes?.

Why didn't they just film at night?

It was much harder to capture scenes at night back then. I dont think you would have seen much of the Chen Zhen pulling the ricksaw.

I looked again and I honestly cannot make out such detail, but if you did, then you have good eyes!

That was a good one! As for the pic above, it's interesting that they did not rely exclusively in trampolines for the jumps and acrobatics.

Not looking well here. Little muscle tone or mass and his facial features are soft comparatively.

The qualityy of some of these old black and white images, are not that great. The light on the picture or flash, has washed a lot of his definiation out. He looks similar to how he did in Way Of The Dragon, thats just my opinion. Also those big avaitor glasses made his head look smaller, had the same effect on some of the clones. His face often looked leaner, when he wore a big pair of those. That doesnt explain his gaunt look in every image however.

No expert, but I guess it as the only way they culd perform the move?. Sure Jackie Chan could have done it, with a trampoline, maybe even without on?.

Happy New Year?

Hopefully he won't end up in an unsavory place by accident!

The people recall former Bruce Lee estate mouthpiece John Little's description of Kung Fu Jesus' physique.

John Little thinks Lee is relaxed in this shot?, far from it, he's posing for the camera, even while shaking Nora Miaos hand. Sadly Little doesnt talk about cortisone in his Art Of Expressing The Human Body book. It payed a major part in how he looked, and for some reason its never mentioned.

Thailand probably? And either applying makeup or medkit? It's interesting that Bruce isn't seen with casual civilian clothes at any other behind the scenes BB pics available so far.

Looks like the ice factory location?, that's Peter Chan in the background, wearing what he did in the movie.

Unused UK video sleeve from Polygram Video, 1993.

Sure had some VHS re-issues that movie, just in the U.K alone.

Old Way Of The Dragon still, cropped and uncropped.

Custom DVD art from "Golden Swallow" (Actually hosted on the main SC36 site!). Does a great job at evoking the visceral feel of the movie.

Fox UC DVD release. Not enough emphasis on Bruce's naked torso, methinks.

I remeber the orignal cover they used, it looked more like their first run of VHS/DVD releases. It also said Fully Uncut on the old cover, which was partially true, the British Censr cuts had been restored, but the old international pre-cuts had'nt. Guess they changed it, so fans didnt expect the saw in the head sequence to appear.
