The second image down, is probably the healthiest he ever looked during his later years in Hong Kong.

Or is my eyes playing tricks as usual? That could be Larry Lee, dont quote , but I seem to remember reading something about Larry Lee having footage of T.V appearance he made with Bruce Lee?. I think Lee gave him a cpy, as a keep sake. Or it might have been some other footage of the piar. I'm not a 100% certain I've got the story right??, before anyone starts spreading the wrong information about. It does look like Larry Lee in the picture, I never noticed this when I posted the photo a few months back.

Member Phantom Dreamer Posted November 20, 2017 Member Share Posted November 20, 2017 I don't know if I agree with this message as it's generally believed that Bruce Lee's lack of body fat played at least some role in his early death.
Member Phantom Dreamer Posted November 20, 2017 Member Share Posted November 20, 2017 Charles Manson has finally died. A few more pics of Bruce Lee & Sharon Tate, along with Nancy Kwan. In addition, I have never seen pics of Bruce Lee with the man who "discovered" him, Jay Sebring, as well as Roman Polanski.

Me niether, he was far more healthy on the image on the left, than he was during the making of Enter The Dragon. Sure his ETD look is more visually striking, but its an unhealthy way to be all year round. Add the fact he saw doctors and wasnt happy about his weight loss, and it seems kinda weirder to put across that message.

I don't know if I would say he was "unhealthy" because it could be anyone's guess, but I always found it bizarre how even thought BB and FOF's Hong Kong releases are separated by an interval of roughly 5 months (BB being released in October '71, and FOF in March '72), there was already a huge difference in Lee's physique in the latter movie in comparison to the former, and I doubt such change would be possible in such a short time, even with a radical revamp of his training and diet, which is what I assume is what happened after he came back from Thailand. I don't personally believe his death was due to some undisclosed disease either, but it's certainly not off the table. The photographer who took a few pics of post-mortem Bruce on the autopsy table said there was an oddly specific instruction from the nurse to not look at Bruce's junk. I feel the implication of STD signs are innevitable. Either way, we can agree that Bruce essentially stayed the same physically wise between 1964-71, and then it seemingly went downhill for the next two years up until his impeading death. Lee still looked to be in good shape when he did the Golden Harvest period costume shoot in 1972. By the time he did the costume shoot for Shaw Brothers, his face was much thinner. He was looking much heavier after making ETD, when he appeared on the set of When Taekwondo Strikes. Which I've talked about before in this thread. I just haven't seen enough decent quality images post ETD, to comment on it anymore.

Thanks to LJF, for the above information, he posted an article about Palmer/Lee's relationship, over at Bruce Lee Lives Forum. It was in Palmers back garden, that this famous BlackBelt magazine cover shot was taken, along with assortment of other pictures.
