Guest Chinatown Kid
I haven't seen the sequels so can't comment, but you need to check out the movie WestWorld if you haven't seen it. Yul Brynner parodies the character he plays in The Magnificent 7, he plays a killer cowboy robot!

Guest angryguest
Sequels: Magnificent 7 Ride! --Lee Van Cleef Return of Magnificent 7 --Yul Brynner Guns of Magnificent 7 --George Kennedy The first one I have seen. It was ok, not as good as the original. If you are a big fan of Lee Van Cleef, it's a must own, preferably his spaghetti western films like - "Sabata", "Return of Sabata", "Death Rides A Horse", "Beyond the Law", etc.. Yul Brynner is also in "Adios, Sabata".
Member KyFi Posted May 25, 2006 Member Share Posted May 25, 2006 Also, I picked up the DVD set of the first season of "Wanted: Dead or Alive", which was a late 50's Western tv show starrring Steve McQueen. Excellent show and great quality DVDs---highly recommended.
Guest venoms5
GUNS is the best of the sequels to me. It appears to have had a more sizeable budget compared with RETURN which has a slight cheap feel about it. There is a brief shot in RETURN where you see the camera crew in a tracking shot as a shadow on the side of a building. MAGNIFICENT 7 RIDE! is awful and only for those who feel they must own every Van Cleef movie.
