Member batou2011 Posted January 10, 2011 Member Share Posted January 10, 2011 I wonder if anyone can help me with identifying the name of an old Hong Kong martial arts movie. Seen this one back in the 80s. The plot basically involves a bunch of skilled fighters escorting the son of a powerful lord in the imperial court back to the capital to face trial for a murder he has committed. The lord, wanting to stop the escort, dispatches his henchmen to rescue his son. The rescue attempt sets the scene for the various battles throughout the movie. There was one scene near the end where the fighters got cornered at some sort of hotel. The leader of the escort group, wanting to scare the lord who at this time had arrived at the scene to personally see to the rescue of his son, cut off the ear from one of the lord's dead soldiers and had it delivered to the lord tricking him into believing that his son's ear was cut off. The final all out battle took place near a river. In the end the fighters escorting the criminal son won the day and managed to kill the lord, however the leader of the escorting fighters also died. In the movie I refer to the leader of the escort band dresses all in white, and none of the actors or actress in the pictures appeared in that movie. Been a long time since I see the actress in the pictures again. Used to watch a lot of her movies, although I can't remember her name. I can certainly recognise Lo Lieh though (RIP).
