Hi Druken Fool,

1. TYGA system is registered with World Grandmaster Council and Police Martial Arts Assoc.

2. Martial Arts Illustrated and Black Belt magazines call him the Worlds Greatest Kicker!.

3. He has won many competitions in semi and full contact worldwide.

4. He runs world tournaments were fighters compete from all over the world not just one country.

5. If you think you are so good and clever go visit him or one his students and they gladly show you that talk is cheap! I bet you don't even train, don't be so jealous and dumb. Mark Murphy.

Are you a student of Gary's Mark? Just asking...I mean, as a lover of independent martial arts films, I would check out the film series just for curiosity purposes.

Yes i am and have been in for over 25 years. Both movies are selling well and are popular worldwide.

Gary has become a hit in the Hong kong film market. Amazon will soon be selling the movies shortly. Also both Thunderkick movies are given free to all TYGA students not sold!

Druken fool has been posting false and fraudulent info about Gary on many websites. We are tracking him down and will take legal action him or anyone spreading lies. Normally this comes from rival or jealous martial arts groups who fear him or have been beaten by him in semi/full contact competitions. Now he has become a successful movie star they seem to be even more jealous!

I guess every person defines the word 'successful' a little differently eh.

Wow, I can't wait to see him in some Hong Kong movie roles! He'd be great to play Darren Shahlavi's role in a re-make of 'Blood Moon'!

A successful actor is someone who gets a offer of a Starring role in a movie by a film company.

Then is paid a good fee. Then is offered to Star again and is paid a bigger fee. That leads to even

more movie starring roles from other film companies. I call that successful.

Had this been 1985, this would have gotten a theatrical release from Crown International Pictures.

I like that! :) That is so true too...either Crown or even Trans World Entertainment.

3. He won some SEMI-Contact titles in Europe but nothing Full-Contact, World or otherwise.

I don't care what people say but to win any sanction tournaments at any level from National up is an achievement worthy of respect by others. Their are so many talented practitioners of the arts that to achieve any success gets my respect. Having competed in a few highish caliber tournaments I can attest to the skill required to gain any success. Jet Li and Cynthia Rothrock only ever one world titles in forms (thus no contact) and I would love to see someone claim they don't know what their doing.

Actually I would agree with this statement, but I think it's fair to say this discussion belongs to another forum, one which relates to martial arts tournaments and it's practitioners.

The focus of this forum is always first and foremost martial arts cinema, and in that respect I find it hard to believe that, based on the trailers and cover artwork, anyone could view the 'Thunderkick' movies as anything but poorly shot, poorly acted, and poorly choreographed messes.

Terrible line delivery, lackluster choreography, and a cast who seem to have just been dragged off the street does not equal good film-making, of any kind....& just to touch on the point of him winning a title in any kind of tournament, a good real life martial artist does not necessarily equal a good screen fighter, I think Gary Wasniewski is a good example of this theory.

Jet Li and Cynthia Rothrock only ever one world titles in forms (thus no contact) and I would love to see someone claim they don't know what their doing.

Once again, the type of discussions that take this place on this forum are not really going to be about whether they know what they're doing or not, they will be about the quality of the movies they have been in. Am I going to watch 'Thunderkick' over 'Fist of Legend'? No. Am I going to watch 'Thunderkick' over 'Above the Law'? No. Am I going to watch 'Thunderkick' over 'Undefeatable'? Ummmm, maybe.

One Armed Boxer I understand your point and agree with you. I personally could not even get through the trailers.

However when someone begins to critisie an individuals ability based on a movie I feel it is unfair as alerady stated there are major differences. Film wise I think this guy should just give up as he doesn't appear to have any redeeming qualities that will make a movie worth watching. However that is not to say I wouldn't willingly take instruction on him in regards to my martial arts.

There is a big difference between being a great martial artist and being a great martial arts movie star.

Even former kickboxer turned actor Don Wilson stated in the documentary CINEMA OF VENGEANCE that there is a difference between real fighting or even tournament forms and all and film fighting.

Film fighting, as Jason Statham described on the TRANSPORTER commentary, is like a dance and you have to have the timing and rhythm along with technique to make it work.

Well.....there's 4:20 minutes I'll never get back.

1:20 minutes of footage of people, a timer, emergency crews, and redundant explosions before the "star" even appears?

There was hardly any MA even shown in the trailer. What, like 2 punches and 1 kick or something?

And ewwwww! That chick kissed him!

The "blood" looks like Heinz 57 sauce....when it's even used. Did that one dude get shot in the groin or the knee? I couldn't tell. No "blood" anywhere on his khakis. He's just cupping himself and then reaches for his leg. But he got a thumb smear of it on his forehead? Guess they had to make that 1 bottle last throughout the entire "production".

The villain doesn't even have a name?

Was there even a script for this?

Well, there. I feel like I've now redeemed that time I lost by ripping on this. (Sigh.) I feel much better now.

Yeah, I got that. I meant a proper name. Of course, nothing about this movie is proper.

Love the acting of Ketchup boy...."Where's my daddy??"

"Wah! I've got ketchup on me face!"
