What is the specific name of the gold "staff with handle" that Lo Lieh uses in "Born Invincible"?

Thanks!

Lance

(And Carter Wong's voice in this dub is the dumbest I've ever heard!)

From what you describe it sounds like the Japanese weapon the Tonfa, one of the Japanese fighters in Heroes of the East used a combination of the Nunchucka and Tonfa to battle Gordon Liu in one of the matches.

You also sometimes see a much longer version of the tonfa (or guai) that is basically a crutch. That is supposedly where the Chinese term for the tonfa originates. The crutch is wielded more like a staff or spear, but the "handle" can be used to hook and pin the heads of other long weapon.
